Unconditionally Secure Rational Secret Sharing in Standard Communication Networks
نویسندگان
چکیده
Rational secret sharing protocols in both the two-party and multi-party settings are proposed. These protocols are built in standard communication networks and with unconditional security. Namely, the protocols run over standard point-to-point networks without requiring physical assumptions or simultaneous channels, and even a computationally unbounded player cannot gain more than 2 by deviating from the protocol. More precisely, for the 2-out-of-2 protocol the 2 is a negligible function in the size of the secret, which is caused by the informationtheoretic MACs used for authentication. The t-out-of-n protocol is (t−1)resilient and the 2 is exponentially small in the number of participants. Although secret recovery cannot be guaranteed in this setting, a participant can at least reduce the Shannon entropy of the secret to less than 1 after the protocol. When the secret-domain is large, every rational player has great incentive to participate in the protocol.

Secure secret reconstruction and multi-secret sharing schemes with unconditional security
In Shamir’s (t, n) secret sharing (SS) scheme, the secret s is divided into n shares by a dealer and is shared among n shareholders in such a way that any t or more than t shares can reconstruct this secret; but fewer than t shares cannot obtain any information about the secret s. In this paper, we will introduce the security problem that an adversary can obtain the secret when there are more t...

A multi-secret sharing scheme (MSS) allows a dealer to share multiple secrets among a set of participants. in such a way a multi-secret sharing scheme (MSS) allows a dealer to share multiple secrets among a set of participants, such that any authorized subset of participants can reconstruct the secrets. Up to now, existing MSSs either require too long shares for participants to be perfect secur...
متن کاملOn Unconditionally Secure Robust Distributed Key Distribution Centers
A Key Distribution Center enables secure communications among groups of users in a network by providing common keys that can be used with a symmetric encryption algorithm to encrypt and decrypt messages the users wish to send to each other. A Distributed Key Distribution Center is a set of servers of a network that jointly realize a Key Distribution Center. In this paper we propose an unconditi...
متن کاملA novel Conference Key Management solution for Secure Dynamic Conferencing
Conference Key Management (CKM) is one of the primary issues in Secure Dynamic Conferencing (SDC). In this paper, we propose a novel CKM scheme for SDC based on the secret sharing principle and the novel concept/introduction of randomised access polynomial. Our scheme is simple, efficient, scalable, practical, dynamic and outperforms existing CKM schemes in overall comparison. Furthermore, if t...
متن کاملAn Incentive-Aware Lightweight Secure Data Sharing Scheme for D2D Communication in 5G Cellular Networks
Due to the explosion of smart devices, data traffic over cellular networks has seen an exponential rise in recent years. This increase in mobile data traffic has caused an immediate need for offloading traffic from operators. Device-to-Device(D2D) communication is a promising solution to boost the capacity of cellular networks and alleviate the heavy burden on backhaul links. However, dir...
